Laurels
Nestled
in a beautiful, safe, quiet residential area, The
Laurels of DeKalb is within walking distance of a
church and park. Our newly remodeled building,
featuring a secured covered outdoor patio and
cozy lounge areas, provides a perfect setting for
quiet time or social activity.
Rehabilitation
The
professional staff at The Laurels of DeKalb can assist
you in your transition from hospital to home. With our comprehensive
rehabilitation programs, we specialize in helping you
regain physical independence after your stay in the
hospital. Our programs include physical, occupational,
respiratory and speech therapy. We work with your
physician to design a personal "care plan"
to help you achieve the fullest recovery possible. If
needed, we offer outpatient physical therapy services
when you return home or to a lesser care environment.
Skilled
Nursing and Alzheimer’s Care
Should
you require an extended or short-term stay, we provide
the most advanced medical care available outside of a
hospital. We offer 24-hour skilled nursing care and
around-the-clock admissions. The Laurels of DeKalb
offers a special care unit to comfort those with
Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related illnesses.
Our short-term stay services include rehabilitation,
respite, hospice and adult day care.
