Infection Resolution Program
Patient Diagnosis
The Laurels’ Infection Resolution Program treats individuals with primary or secondary diagnoses of infection. Diagnoses may include pneumonia, kidney and urinary tract infections, endocarditis, osteomyelitis or septicemia.
Program Design
The Laurels’ Infection Resolution Program coordinates the nursing, dietary, respiratory, pharmacy and laboratory disciplines to assist patients compromised by infection. Services include:
The interdisciplinary team meets routinely to establish treatment goals and review progress.
Program Protocol
The Laurels’ Infection Resolution Program is appropriate for adult patients who have:
Patients remain in the Infection Resolution Program until established goals are met or until transfer to a lower level of care can occur.
Attending primary care physicians are welcome to follow their patients participating in our Medically Complex Programs. If that is not feasible, a member of The Laurels’ medical staff will attend to the patient.
